Many members of the Brahmin community in Andhra Pradesh and some of those living
outside the State need a helping hand for their emancipation, development and welfare.
Many charitable and philanthropic people and institutions have the desire to extend
such help. In addition to providing direct economic assistance to the needy families
of the community through many schemes, A.P. Brahmin Welfare Corporation (short name
ABC) has launched some initiatives and channels to deliver YOUR CHARITY, DONATIONS
and SERVICE to the marginalized and poor members of the community.

Sponsorship / Adoption
Under the Sindhutai Sapakal Scheme, philanthropic people can adopt, or sponsor the
educational and other expenses of orphans and otherwise distressed poor people of
the community.

Donate Money
Under this scheme donors create an endowment. ABC utilizes the interest accrued
to serve marginalised Brahmins Community members through Andhra Pradesh Brahmin
Welfare Corporation Ltd., for their overall development which includes economic,
social, religious and cultural life on a sustainable basis. We look for an endowment
of Rs. 1 Crore and above from Corporate houses, and a minimum of Rs 5 lakhs from
individuals. The Donor can specify the purpose and the criteria for selection of
the beneficiary. Where the endowment is less than Rs. 5 lakhs, it will be clubbed
and administered as combined endowments by ABC.
This scheme is for persons who would like to contribute small amounts – one time
or regularly over a period of time -- for the welfare of Brahmin Community. Donors
can send the amounts by Cheque / Demand Draft / Online transfer, the minimum amount
being Rs. 100 and the maximum Rs. 1 lakh. A committee of eminent persons will select
the people, activities or projects on whom the funds can be spent.

Donate Things, Time or Service
This Scheme for Volunteers aims to utilize the services of Brahmins and Brahmin
well-wishers by way of sharing their Time, Things and Skills for the welfare and
development of the Brahmin community in Andhra Pradesh. Volunteers registered with
AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation may donate things, or utilize their spare time/services
for the community’s benefit, by joining ABC’s efforts in their direction.
